Control Ball Valves
KTM control valves are suitable not only for the critical services in the pulp and paper industry but also designed to assure smooth and accurate throttling actions on a wide range of applications such as fibrous materials, pellet state slurry, high viscous solutions and other fluids having special characteristics.
V-Port Ball Valves
- Rotary-valve design provides shearing action between the V-notch ball and the seat, promoting a smooth, non-clogging operation
- Straight-through flow design provides high capacity for fibrous slurries, steam, liquids and gases
- Lower torque than typical trunnion design valves, for ease of operation and reduced actuator cost with a single-seat design
- Two seat designs: (1) O-Laminated seat with good sealing performance and withstanding tough operating conditions, (2) O-Thick (solid) seat for high-velocity and abrasive or erosive service
- High range ability and smooth throttling action by segmented V-notched ball
- The right flow capacity for every application at low cost by alternative full and reduced port
- Full bore sizes from 1" to 12" (25mm to 300mm); Reduced bore sizes from 1½" to 20" (40mm to 500mm)
- Pressure rating: ASME Class 150, 300
- Temperature range: -20°F to 662°F (-29°C to 350°C)
Dual-V Ball Valves
- Unique Dual-V ball features a secondary (small) V-notch allowing extremely small, accurate flow rates
- Cavity free construction
- Dual V-Ball allows rate changes and controls fluids with a range ability in excess of 250:1
- Nearly equal percent flow characteristic
- Rotary-valve design provides shearing action between the V-notch ball and the seat, promoting a smooth, non-clogging operation
- FCI 70 - 2 Class V shut-off
- Reduce stress by unibody design
- Multiple, adjustable ring packing allows easy adjustment without requiring valve disassembly or actuator removal
- Size: 1" to 8" (25mm to 200mm)
- Pressure rating: ASME Class 150, 300
- Temperature range: -4°F to 518°F (-20°C to 270°C)
